Our client is one of the largest locally based housing organisations in the East Midlands. Across the region they manage over 9,000 homes; house more than 15,000 tenants; provide over 1,500 bed spaces for people with support/care needs, in over 250 properties; and provide more than 500,000 hours of care and support each year. A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join their Treasury Management Team as Treasury and Asset Analyst.
Your day to day responsibilities will include:
Assisting in the production of statutory accounts, and other financial accounts and reports
Assisting in period end and year end close down procedures
Extracting and analysing data from the financial system and draft information where required
Assisting in the monitoring of the day to day cash requirements for the Group
Administration of appropriate manual and computerised records and reconciliations
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:
Part qualified CIMA/ACCA and/or degree holder in Accountancy/Finance/Law/Business related discipline
Demonstrable knowledge and/or experience in a finance/business role
A good understanding of accounting / data systems
Working proficiency in Microsoft spreadsheets, databases, computerised accounts packages and other related applications
The ability to pick up new systems and procedures quickly
