Accounts Senior

Exciting opportunity for a newly qualified accountant to gain an autonomous role supporting the partners.

Your new firm
This well established firm of Chartered Accountants & Business Advisors, based in Wilmslow, South Manchester are looking to appoint a newly or recently qualified accountant to join their team as an Accounts Senior. This firm specialise in the medical profession and this is a fantastic opportunity for a newly qualified accountant to work closely with the Directors of the firm. The firm will consider flexible working hours of 30+ hours a week.

Your new role
As an Accounts Senior you will be allocated a portfolio of clients consist of GP surgeries. In this role you will act as a trusted advisor for your clients providing accounting and tax compliance services along with providing business advice. You will act as a key advisor for your clients, attending regular meetings out on client site to assist with any financial matters. You will also be responsible for supporting the partners with the day to day running of the accounts team, this will include supervising junior staff, assisting them with any queries and mentoring.

What you'll need to succeed
The partners are seeking an experienced accounts senior who has trained within either general practice or audit. You will be ACA / ACCA qualified or a QBE accountant who is able to demonstrate strong attention to detail and has previous experience of liaising with and advising clients. The firm will consider flexible working hours of 30+ hours a week.
