Elevation Recruitment Group are pleased to be working in partnership with a prestigious business for their head office location in Barnsley. They are conveniently located just off the motorway so are very accessible and offer free parking on site.

They are currently looking to recruit a Finance Business Partner to work alongside a Management Accountant, reporting straight to the Finance Director. The purpose of this role is to provide operational and commercial support to budget holders and liaison at all levels within the Company, in both a financial and non-financial capacity. Ensuring a high standard of financial support across the network. Having the ability to influence decisions and to positively contribute towards the organisations growth targets.

This role will be a hugely pivotal one and is a role that promises to offer autonomy, variety and a chance to really engage with the wider business and add value. You will also be very visible to the CFO and get chance to work closely with a range of Senior Stakeholders.

Reporting into the Finance Director, duties will include but will not be limited to:

*Ensure accurate and timely Month End and Year End reporting - production and review of the monthly Management Accounts including journals, reconciliations, variance analysis and commentary
*Prepare and develop the monthly finance reporting pack
*Production of the monthly rolling forecasts
*Lead on Annual Business Planning
*Commercial/Operational support to region and senior management - Provide and develop effective financial reporting and support Budget Managers
*Representation at Business Team meetings, support and challenge throughout the business for driving cost saving initiatives and training
*Tax service liaison and production of VAT and CIS returns
*Employment cost accruals/analysis (including bonuses), recharges between AWSD and AWSE
*Balance Sheet reconciliations
*Capital and depreciation accounting - including capital allowances
*Conduct internal financial audits in conjunction with Group Finance Manager
*Ensure an adequate Internal Control System is maintained and enforced throughout the network.
*Production and maintenance of internal project coding
*Maintenance of Financial Information System master data hierarchy
*Implement ad hoc financial improvement projects as directed by line manager
*Ensure adherence to Health and Safety responsibilities always, including following all appropriate procedures and using the appropriate protective equipment.
*Ensure that risks and hazards in activities undertaken in the role are acknowledged and conducted in accordance with processes, procedure and measures in place to mitigate risks.
*Support with the continuous improvement of finance systems and processes to support evolving business requirements as required.
*Travel to UK sites as required.

The successful candidate will need to be able to demonstrate the following skills and experiences:

* A qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
* Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with a range of senior stakeholders
* Ability to work in a complex, fast paced environment and respond under ambiguous situations
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, unfaltering attention to detail and is highly logical and numerate
* Ability to present ideas and opinions in a collaborative, credible and influential manner
* A continuous improvement mind-set
* Proven ability to make financial information simple and insightful for finance and non-finance decision makers
* SAP experience would be highly desirable
