Senior Financial Accountant

A Senior Financial Accountant role with an international company based near Heathrow.

Your new role
Monitoring the day-to-day financial operations (month and end-year process, accounts payable/receivable, inter-group reconciliations, general ledger, fixed assets register etc.)
Supporting budget and forecasting activities.
Monitoring and analysing accounting data and producing under tight deadlines monthly, quarterly and year end reports
Overseeing payroll function and the benefit schemes and pension scheme
Cash flow forecast analysis on weekly/monthly basis and uploading the data to Hyperion.
Managing bank accounts.
Preparation and submission of Corporation tax return on annual basis and VAT return on quarterly basis Preparation and submission of statutory annual accounts in line with International Financial Reporting Standards, completion of annual audits.
Preparation and submission of corporation tax and VAT returns
Participation in preparation of P11D Liaising with other external regulators and services providers (HMRC, banks, payroll agencies, pension advisors etc.) to maintain ongoing good relations ensuring company compliance and cost control as appropriate
Preparation of year-end and half-year reporting packages for consolidated reporting.
Staying up to date with technological advances and accounting software to be used for financial purposes Establishing and enforcing proper accounting methods, policies and principles
Ensuring that record-keeping and accounts meet the conditions of relevant legislation
Tracking the company's financial status and performance to identify areas for potential improvement
Support Finance Director on tasks and projects as and when required within their capability
