Part Time Financial Controller
Central London
£100k FTE, plus Bonus and Possible Equity Participation
The client is an expanding Digital technology company whose platform enables Global Brands to bring their content and events to highly targeted customer audience. Their technology and software is already embedded into a significant number of UK organisations, and is growing. The business has recently raised funding, and made an acquisition, and further growth through fund raising is expected. They are looking to recruit a Head of Finance to support and enable this development and expansion.
Reporting to the CEO, the role will be hands on, involved in all aspects of commercial and business operations, and will take responsibility for the day to day management of the finance function and financial risk. This includes:
- Financial Planning and Budgetary Control
- All regular reporting; Year End Statutory Accounts, Monthly Management, and weekly analysis, product analysis, commercial and financial analysis.
- Cash management, forecasting and Bank relationships.
- Fund raising options and Investor Relations
- Liaising with third party advisors, Clients and other Authorities. This includes overseeing all tax affairs and Returns.
- Manage the administrative and financial IT function, overseeing change, upgrades and developments.
- Manage the external accounting services.
- Be an active member of the Senior Management Team, assisting the growth strategy, in commercial decision making, and operational projects.
- Business Analysis, financial modelling and assessing acquisition targets.
- Liaising with all third party advisors.
This is an excellent role for a Qualified Accountant seeking a part-time role, flexible hours, say 2-4 days a week, working both in the Head Office and/or remotely, to fit in with both the FC and the Company. The client would hope that as the business grows that this role will offer increased days, and that the FC progresses to FD, with added benefits and bonuses. Sector experience is not a pre requisite.
