Central London(Part Remote Working)

My client is a fast growing marketing company based in Central London and are looking for a Finance Analyst to join the team.

Duties:

  • Evolving the content of management reporting packs to stakeholders to communicate results and perform regular reviews with EMEA business partners
  • Monthly forecasting process including liaising with the business to understand and update revenue and cost projections, input into Adaptive/Hyperion systems with subsequent reporting and commentary
  • Annual budgeting process including liaising with the business to understand and update revenue and costs, providing supporting analysis, input into Adaptive/Hyperion, tracking of changes during the process with subsequent reporting and supporting explanations
  • Provision of client and product profitability on a monthly basis; validation of inputs, improvement of process, creating dashboard reporting
  • Review of month end results and explanation of variances to forecast, plan and prior year; posting journals where necessary as part of the close process
  • Maintaining and tracking bonus accrual/releases and involvement in calculations for payments
  • Liaising with wider finance teams across the group to ensure best practices and methodologies are implemented
  • Documentation and Improvement of processes for SOX compliance and control maintenance
  • Ad hoc analysis supporting business partners

Requirements:

  • Good communication skills - ability to communicate at all levels including with non-finance associates essential
  • Qualified or Finalist Level
  • Customer focus
  • Excellent Excel skills and system interrogation skills
  • Good attention to detail
  • Ability to plan time effectively and meet deadlines
  • Drive to improve current processes & practices
  • Ability to drive automation & efficiency of reporting
  • Knowledge of SOX processes (documentation, compliance & controls)
  • Team player and happy to get stuck in to ensure everyone succeeds
