Location: North West
Salary: c.£100,000 to £120,000 + bonus and equity participation
Our retained client is a highly profitable, and cash generative, market leading business which boasts an unrivalled reputation for delivering exceptional service across a range of construction projects. With a history of consistent and impressive success since inception, the business is teetering on a phenomenal scale up strategy and has entered into exclusivity with Private Equity to facilitate its ambitious growth objectives.
The business takes pride in the quality and longevity of relationships it has nurtured with its customers and suppliers. This is evidenced by the high level of repeat business from its longstanding clients, setting it apart from its competition. Its aim is to continue offering excellent services to all its customers and to build upon the impressive growth, with a 3-year organic strategy to double profit, which will focus on a proactive marketing plan to target new customers.
These strategic objectives will be achieved by maintaining and strengthening its existing customer relationships within the North-West, offering new service lines to its existing customers, developing new customer relationships, ensuring margins for each project are protected and maximised, and identifying and growing new service lines, which will allow the business to build on a regional roll-out plan.
A Finance Director is required to implement the necessary infrastructure to support this scaleup strategy. The incoming candidate will establish themselves as an integral member of the Board, supporting the execution of the strategic objectives and playing a pivotal role in shaping the business for the future.
The successful candidate will have a strong track record of spearheading a scale up strategy within a project-led business; or have operated within a number 1 or 2 role in Finance within a high growth Private Equity backed business. You must relish the opportunity of working within a people-focused business, in a hands-on and collaborative environment. In return the successful candidate will have a huge degree of autonomy to drive change within an employee centric culture and will be aligned to the growth journey through an equity participation scheme.
