Senior Covenant Manager

Leading our employer covenant team, you will have overall responsibility for the Trustee’s covenant assessment activity. This includes assessing the support provided by the sponsors of the 50 pension schemes we run, as well as ensuring that our employer assessment and monitoring processes remain in line with regulatory requirements and industry best practice.

Previous employer covenant assessment experience is essential, including presenting results to senior stakeholders and justifying the conclusions in the face of challenge. People management experience is also desirable as you will need to set direction for the team, appraise performance and ensure work is delivered to schedule.

As you will be regularly liaising with people, you’ll need to demonstrate good communication ability and possess strong customer service skills.  The successful candidate will also be able and willing to set and follow working procedures, use their own initiative and demonstrate a high level of proactivity. 

The salary range for this position is competitive and will be dependent on experience. We can also offer you an excellent reward package that includes: performance related bonus, contributory pension, life assurance, 26 days of annual leave + bank holidays.

Our head office is located in modern Leeds city centre offices, which are close to the rail station and parking facilities.  Alternatively, the post can be based from our City of London (EC2) office with occasional travel to Leeds.
