Financial Accountant  (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)

Looking for your next accounts opportunity within a professional services environment? We’re currently looking for an experienced Financial Accountant to provide maternity cover in our busy Finance team in Manchester.

The Financial Accountant will liaise with our auditors to produce the Group’s consolidated statutory accounts and manage the financial audit.

Key elements of the role include ensuring that reporting is in line with current accounting standards, production of Group VAT returns and assisting with CT return production and review.

The role is also responsible for monthly integration of Group entities results into the consolidated Group result, maintaining the long term balance sheet and cash flow forecast models, and the production and control of balance sheet reconciliations. There will also be the requirement to support Finance system implementations.

Month end duties will involve payroll and fixed asset entries.

We are keen to discuss the role with qualified accountants (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) who are business minded, have a strong technical ability, are comfortable working with large volumes of data and who have strong excel knowledge. The ability to engage and communicate effectively with senior management and partners is also essential to the role.
