The Role:
The Senior Corporate Accountant will support the Head of Financial Strategy and will manage the Corporate Accountancy Team. The focus is to provide a comprehensive financial planning and reporting service for the Council.
This includes supporting the development and monitoring of the Financial, and the Capital & Investment, Strategies. The successful candidate will need to manage the performance framework, the annual budget planning process, and the updating of the Council’s Medium Term Financial Plan. There will also be a requirement to undertake the production of timely and accurate financial monitoring and outturn reports, as you would expect.
