Position:                              Chief Financial Officer (Excellent prospects)

Location:                             Ireland & other locations

Salary:                                  Circa £180,000 + Bonus + Benefits

Role Overview:

 A unique career-changing opportunity within a highly regarded global leader in the food sector. Due to internal movement within the business, an opportunity has arisen for either a highly experienced Financial Controller looking to take their first step into a CFO position, or alternatively a highly talented CFO who has the ambition to potentially become the next Chief Executive Officer over a  5 year period.

This is a role which will excite commercially astute Accountants wanting to play a significant part in the growth and development of an organisation (current turnover in excess of £300m) and where success will be recognised and rewarded. Reporting to the CEO, the successful candidate will have experience gained within the dairy, food manufacturing or beverage sector. Prior experience of UK multi-sites and International experience across different jurisdictions is highly desirable.

 As part of the senior leadership team, you will play a highly visible role which will require high levels of commitment, energy as well as high levels of EQ. As the Finance leader, you will have the personality and drive to inspire and motivate a finance team of 20+ located across 3 manufacturing sites as well as liaise with Banks and other third parties.

To truly understand the commercial drivers of the business, frequent visits to manufacturing operations is critical, therefore travel will be a pre-requisite as part of the role.

The breadth of responsibilities in this role provide an equal mix of financial control and commercial business partnering for both the 3 manufacturing operations, but also providing sound counsel to the Chief Executive Officer and the executive leadership team.

• Financial reporting
• Monthly & Weekly Accounts
• Treasury and Taxation

Commercial partnering entails;

• Developing the Strategic Plan
• Defining the Annual Business Plan
• Forecasting
• Sales Support
• Capital Projects
