About the role
The Financial Controller position reports into the Finance Director and will oversee the day to day management on the finance function, leading a team 4 direct reports. You will be required to support commercial and operational activities and provide financial information, manage and develop the finance team and drive performance within the finance function.
Salary - £50k - £60k + 10% bonus + excellent benefits

Main Duties
- Day to day running of the finance function
- Manage Group KPI’s and oversight of the management accounts process
- Lead and develop the finance team
- Offer new ways of working, process and improvements, develop existing practices
- Prepare monthly board packs
- Financial analysis and improved reporting to support commercial operations
- Prepare annual budget and reforecasting
- Maintain relationships with auditors, banks solicitors and investors
- Manage the group Audit
- Development of treasury activities including foreign exchange transactions, ensuring accurate cash positioning
- Management of domestic and overseas tax compliance
- Any additional ad hoc duties required by the FD
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified Accountant
- Previous experience in a similar role as a Finance Controller
- Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proven experience, leading and develop a finance team
- Commercial outlook
- Previous experience in a PE backed business is desirable
