Financial Accountant

The Financial Accountant will support in the preparation of the management accountant and statutory financial accounts, assist with business wide projects and provide support to the wider finance team and senior management for the Group. This role would suit a newly qualified accountant looking for a first move into Industry, into a broad and varied role where they can develop their skill set and progress a career.

Description

- Prepare, accurate management reporting of all entities

- Prepare and post Group payroll costs

- To build and maintain budgets and forecasts

- To post accurate financial data on a monthly basis

- Report monthly balance sheet and cash flow statements

- To liaise with external auditors and provide accurate documentation for the audits

- Provide support for projects across the business

- Support with new acquisitions and bringing these into the group

- Support the Senior Finance team

Profile

- Newly ACA or ACCA qualified, looking for a 1st move into Industry

- Strong technical finance skills

- Able to build relationships and communicate at all levels across the business

- Good analytical ability and a keen eye for detail

- Adaptable and able to work in an ever-changing environment

- Ability to prioritise workload and work in a fast-paced environment

- Confident and able to proactively challenge the status quo

- Able to identify areas for improvement

Job Offer

£40-45,000 + benefits

Hybrid working - 2 days in the office required
