Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be partnering exclusively with a successful, well established Manufacturing business based in Chesterfield to recruit a Finance Manager on an Interim basis for 12 months to cover a period of maternity.
Starting in September, you will receive a detailed handover period ready to takeover from the current Finance Manager. Candidates must be within commutable distance to the chesterfield office, although there is the flexibility to work from home on occasion too. You also have the added benefit of a company wide half day finish every Friday!
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
* Producing monthly accounts
* Loading of the accounts into HFM
* Monthly reconciliations using the Blackline system
* To undertake any other duties as appropriate to the post as requested by the Financial Accountant or the Group Finance Director
* Support the year-end financial audit
* Ensure that appropriate policies and procedures are followed to support the finance function
* Calculate and process accruals, prepayments, deferred income and journals to enable the accurate production of management accounts
* Produce KPI booklets containing relevant monthly finance information for the leadership team
* Sage and HFM experience is beneficial
* Adhoc analysis
Skills & Experience Required:
- Qualified accountant (ACA/CIMA/ACCA) or QBE
- Proven experience of Systems upgrades and new system implementations
- Strong Month End experience
- Excellent analytical and numerical abilities
