This Audit & Accounts Supervisor role will offer exposure to both audit and accounts functions. Your work will be split equally between both functions throughout the year.

Description
- Supervise client audit engagements at all stages (from planning to completion)
- Supervise, and mentor junior team members
- Perform analytical review on financial statements to identify audit-related issues
- Produce statutory accounts and draft tax computations
- Maintain a thorough understanding of HAT methodology
- Monitor the progress of jobs to ensure that budgets are met
- Sign off audit sections, address any issues and complete files before Manager or Partner review
- Draft client letters
- Proactively interact with clients' key management to gather information, resolve problems and make recommendations for business and process improvements
Profile
- ACA/ACCA fully qualified with practical audit experience in an accountancy practice
- Excellent technical knowledge of accounting and auditing standards, corporation tax, VAT and P11Ds
- Experience of consolidations
- Working knowledge of integrated accounts production and paperless audit software
- Highly motivated self-starter with ability to multitask and complete assignments within set time frames and deadlines
- Have practical working experience of supervising teams, and delegating tasks
- Working knowledge of Caseware, Sage, Quickbooks, Xero, Alphatax and CCH
