Member Payments Administrator - Payroll
Location: Croydon
Salary: £28,675 to £29,841 per annum
Contract Type: Permanent
Our client protects millions of people in the UK who belong to defined benefit pension schemes. Their members rely on them to look after their pensions if their employers collapse and the pension schemes cannot afford to pay what they promised.
They are now looking for a Member Payments Administrator to join their team that supports the delivery of an excellent member payments service that pays the right member the right amount at the right time.
In this role you will always put customers at the heart of everything you do. You will be responsible for the administration and updating of member records with all relevant payroll information, supporting post payroll work including BACS recalls and undertake calls with HMRC to understand any queries raised.
Their ideal applicant will have payroll experience, either from within a Pensions Payroll setting or commercial setting, or they will be a pension administrator that has had exposure to the pension payroll process.
Experience demonstrated will cover report reconciliations and PAYE, Tax Codes and Tax Calculations. They are looking for someone that has strong analytical skills with the ability to organise, analyse and disseminate significant amounts of information. Additionally, they are looking for someone that can communicate effectively with a variety of stakeholders at different levels to help them understand complex issues.

In return for your skills, experience and commitment they’ll give you a challenging role within a business where you’ll get the support you need to develop your career.
You’ll also get an outstanding rewards package which includes a generous pension scheme, private medical insurance, health cash plan, critical illness insurance, volunteering leave, holiday trading and a discretionary bonus scheme.
They’ll also give you lots of opportunities for personal development and skills training.
Their Croydon office is just across the road from East Croydon station, which is around 15 minutes from Victoria or London Bridge, 10 minutes from Clapham Junction or half an hour from St Pancras.
