Elevation Senior Finance are pleased to be partnering with a Bradford based business to recruit an Interim Group Finance Analyst into their well-established finance team. This is an interim requirement for a period of 6-9 months to provide support during a period of transformation and is largely based remotely.
As a Finance Analyst working closely with a lead business partner you will be responsible for maintaining and updating key financial models and preparing detailed financial analysis to aid business insight and decision making.
Key duties will include:
* Production of monthly financials (KPI and P&L) including background working documents. Identifying and improving process if gaps are identified
* Review of financials and follow up with Business Unit finance teams (5 across Europe)
* Appropriate further investigation tasks of monthly financials, as and when required
* Organisation of Periodic review meetings with Business units for CFO and development of tracking tool for follow up on actions
* Production of presentation packs with supporting background files for the annual financial planning process
* Review monthly financials from Korean subsidiary and conversion to CH-GAAP (simple journals)
* Cost controlling support for group cost centres such as business development
* Development of controlling tools in order to challenge the wider business in an effective way
* Development of underlying drivers behind results to aid understanding of performance (eg Foreign Exchange)
Skills & Experience:
* Qualified (ACCA, ACA, CIMA or QBE)
* Strong Excel & PowerPoint skills
* Accounting experience
* Good written communication skills / report writing
* Financial Analysis
* SAP Experience desirable
* Knowledge of unique systems (Tagetik, Thinkcell)
* Advanced excel knowledge (VBA, Powerpivot)
