As an Accounting Services Manager (London), you will have the task of controlling the work flow on a portfolio of clients, dealing with technical queries as they arise and completing quality control reviews in a timely and accurate fashion.

Description
You will have primary contact with staff, typically Financial Controllers and CFO level staff along with operational staff. As such, you will should be comfortable in communicating both in writing and verbally by phone/virtual meetings including third parties such as auditors and HM Revenue & Customs.
Detailed services include:
- Review of VAT returns and registrations
- Review and production of management accounts
- Payment runs
- Client billing process
- Deal with regular and ad-hoc queries as they arise
- Implementation of new clients
- Management of staff completing such work both to meet technical standards and within the firm's process
- Interaction with, and leadership of, the BRFS team
- Management of more junior staff. Allocate work to your team including outsourcers
- Train staff from both a technical and personal perspective
Profile
- ACA or ACCA qualification
- Be able to manage your own portfolio of clients
- Have a proven track record of managing a team and delegating work accordingly
- Be confident in handing a range of multiple client management accounts and VAT
- Software exposure to include Xero, quickbooks, sage and CCH is beneficial
