Head of Finance - French speaking

Reporting to the Managing Director you will have overall responsibility for the finance department and will be a key member of the management team, working closely with them to lead the business.

You'll also report your numbers to the CFO at the Head Office in Paris.

Examples of key responsibilities:

• Managing & developing the Finance team
• Financial reporting including year-end statutory accounting
• Liaising with Group Head Office in Paris on monthly, quarterly and annual reporting, ensuring accuracy and deadlines
• Leading the annual budgeting process, challenging assumptions and ensuring consistency
• Profit and cash-flow forecasting
• Commercial activities such as identifying areas for improved profit
• Reviewing, developing and implementing systems and processes to ensure best practice and accuracy of reporting
• Ad-hoc FP&A to support management decision-making

About you:

• Ideally you will be CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified or French-equivalent
• It is essential that you speak French and English
• You will have experience in a similar role, managing a finance function, within a large or small company environment
• Experience in reporting to a Group Head office in an international business
• Strong MS Excel skills
• Flexible, self-starting approach and desire to work in a busy and fast-paced environment
• Experience in manufacturing/retail/publishing or other inventory-based environment is highly advantageous
