Finance Business Analyst - Media
The Role
This role will be responsible for the review of the finance processes, documentation and improvement of processes and controls during the course of a financial system ERP upgrade. This role will be primarily focused on the ERP project. They will be responsible for process documentation and workflows to ensure appropriate processes are followed and adequate controls are in place.
The Responsibilities:
- Evaluate where current processes can be improved
- Responsible for documentation of finance process workflows
- Assist with the implementation of any new processes
- Document processes, and recommended process improvements with the finance team
- Assist in the resolution of issues as and when required within the Finance Department
- Maintain a central repository for system and process workflows, and update training materials.
- Keep a register of processes, and ensure periodic review and updates
- Be the point of contact within the finance team for any process review and communication requirements
About You:
- 5+ years' experience in process review and documentation management, with business process ownership experience advantageous
- Qualified accountant
- Strong experience of Microsoft Visio, and a good skillset in Google Lucid
- Proven track record of improving financial processes
- Background in SOX404 would be beneficial
