Financial Controller

Eton Bridge Partners is working in partnership with a PE-backed, SME manufacturing client to appoint their Financial Controller. This is an exciting opportunity to join a high growth, innovative company and play a pivotal role in a finance transformation project.

Responsibilities:

• Ownership of month end close and all management reporting
• Ownership of AP, AR, bank reconciliations and general ledger
• Implement financial controls, processes and a risk and governance framework
• Lead year end and the internal audit process, being the point of contact for external auditors
• Drive the improvement of all financial processes, tools, systems
• Business partner non-finance supporting them in understanding the importance of new financial processes, controls and policies and embedding these into the business

Candidate Profile:

• Qualified accountant
• Confident implementing change with a track record of delivering process improvements
• Strong technical accounting skill set and has seen what good looks like
• Have led and developed a team
• Experience working in a B2B manufacturing/construction/engineering company beneficial

Location: East London

Compensation: £70,000-90,000 base salary plus benefits
