Finance Manager (interim)

This interim position is with an established organisation that provides services to the healthcare sector in North Manchester. Based at their main office in Bury the roles requires someone who can start immediately and is initially offered as a six month contract but with a strong potential for further extension. The role will involve supporting a Senior Finance Manager and ad hoc duties for a busy CEO, you must therefore be flexible and adaptable to suit the needs of the business. The key responsibilities will be:

• Responsible for month end processes and supporting management accounts production
• Prepare and analyse financial reports on performance against budget
• Manage cashflow to ensure value for money is achieved across all activities
• Supporting preparation of the budget
• Provide financial information to support potential investments
• Responsible for payroll preparation and processing
• Overseeing and processing sales and purchase ledger
• Assist management in preparing quarterly progress reports
• Support compliance and drive good practice

The ideal candidate would have previous experience in a Finance Manager / Accounts Manager type role and would be excited about the opportunity to work in a business that provides valuable services to a portfolio of different sites. You must have excellent communication skills and preferably some experience with Xero or similar accounting software.
