Part Time Chartered Accountant - Bournemouth

Part time qualified practice accountant ACA ACCA for small dynamic accountancy practice in Bournemouth

Due to growth, I am working with a small dynamic accountancy practice in the Bournemouth/Poole area who are looking for an energetic pro-active fully qualified ACCA or ACA Chartered Accountant with a minimum of three years current practice experience to join their team on a part time basis (probably 2-3 days per week).

Their core business starts with providing clients with a 'Virtual Accounts Office' so that they can outsource their entire accounts operations and the firm provides a fully managed finance function, working as an extension of their client's business as part of their team. In addition, they provide a range of back office support services to clients from bookkeeping to final accounts. They currently provide flexible working, but as lockdown eases the position will be predominantly based at the firm's offices.

This leadership role involves full responsibility for assigned clients, including accounts preparation to statutory level, preparation of monthly and quarterly VAT returns, and preparation of management accounts and will require candidates to be fully conversant with Final Accounts, CT computation & submission, Self Assessments, partnerships etc and be able to take ownership of a portfolio of clients and delegate appropriately, ensuring the highest standards of client care and service delivery.

You will need to have recent experience of working within an accountancy practice and will ideally be fully conversant / trained with Xero Cloud accounting software and packages such as Cloud based add on software and apps, QuickBooks Online and Taxfiler Tax software. You will have excellent written and verbal English and be a clear communicator with the ability to present information at the right level to clients and strong client facing skills with a warm consultative approach that reflects the firm's ethos.
