Pratap Partnership are working with private equity owned business who are looking to bring in an Interim Head of Management Accounts on a contract of up to 12 months. This business is a highly entrepreneurial organisation and a fast growing business with significant change. This will be a varied role

This will be a highly visible interim appointment, and duties will include:

Provide visible, respectful leadership to the team and be the technical expert for the function.

• Maintain all systems ensuring that adequate and appropriate financial records are created and maintained as required for the function.

• Manage the Group Management Accountant to achieve agreed outputs.

• Foster a strong, self-perpetuating culture of continuous improvement in the function.

• Utilising agreed processes monitor performance of the functions against plan on a regular basis, expeditiously deal with exceptions in conjunction and keep the Finance Director informed as required.

• Work alongside Head of Financial Accounts and Treasury to deliver management and board packs.

• Develop the careers of, and mentor direct reports.

The ideal candidate will be:

• ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified, or qualified by experience
• Proven background in management accounts
• Good project management skills
• Advanced Excel skills
