Your new role
In this newly created role, you will manage a commercial operations function to deliver accurate and timely financial results in a strong, control-focused environment.
The role will have a strong focus on the reporting of all revenue and costs for the divisional P&L. As the Commercial Finance Manager, you will become a trusted business partner to the operational teams and deliver best in class reporting in line with business strategy

Provide clear and transparent financial information on the underlying trading performance to aid in the decision making and forecasting process, challenging results as necessary
Prepare weekly, monthly and ad hoc reports and forecasts as necessary
Manage and coordinate the review, analysis and submission of revenue and cost of sales to tight monthly deadlines
Contribute to the management of working capital via monitoring KPI's
Assist in the management and control of interfaces, between operations and finance systems, developments, enhancements and overall process improvement
Contribute to and act as lead when required for change management and process improvement projects as well as automation initiatives
Maintain a thorough understanding of the financial reporting structure and help to ensure the smooth integration of new business and products
Contribute to Internal and external statutory Audit requirements
Support and deputise activities for other Commercial Managers as necessary developing into a cross functional team
Maintain effective cross-functional communication channels with other areas of the business
Provide leadership and coaching to direct reports and develop team goals
Create and maintain an efficient team to process and manage the commercial reporting in an accurate and timely manner

Relevant management accounting experience
People management experience
Advanced excel - Pivot tables, Vlookup
