Management Accountant

Elevation Accountancy & Finance are currently working in partnership with a well established & prestigious business based in the Rotherham area on an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and switched on Management Accountant to join their busy team, initially on a 6 Month Fixed Term Contact.

Duties will include, but not be limited to:

* Assisting with the monthly management accounts preparation
* Accurate mid month update of budget and forecast workbooks
* Balance Sheet reconciliations including trending of balances
* Intercompany reconciliations
* VAT returns
* Maintenance of the fixed asset register
* Ad-hoc journals including payroll weekly journals
* Month end reporting and reconciliations
* Assist with Year end audit process
* Assist with uploading client invoices onto the online portals
* Any other ad-hoc projects / analysis as required by the wider team/business

Person specification:

* At least 2 years' experience within a similar role
* AAT Qualified / Part Qualified CIMA/ACCA
* Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise with individuals at all levels
* Excellent IT skills including Excel (pivot tables & v lookups)
