SUN Systems Accountant

A prestigious and very reputable organisation, with over two centuries of history, is looking to appoint an experienced SUN Systems Accountant to take overall responsibility of the management and operation of SUN and Q&A. Ahead of the move to a new platform (Microsoft Dynamics) you would also ensure their readiness for migration.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Maintaining and managing the SUN and Q&A finance system, ensuring the integrity of static and transactional data and the management and financial accounting code base and hierarchies
• Developing monthly system reconciliations between SUN and the supporting business systems such as Pro-actis procurement and MS Dynamics CRM
• Reviewing Power BI reporting, assisting the finance team to run the monthly Power BI membership model, working to convert the model to operate with the new MS Dynamics CRM
• Developing new reports from MS Dynamics to support the FP&A and reporting activities of the organisation
• Providing systems support and training to the finance team to ensure transactional processes are efficient and effective

The successful candidate will:

• Be a fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
• Have advanced knowledge of SUN and Q&A; experience with Microsoft Dynamics would be beneficial
• Be experienced with VBA, SQL and Power BI
• Have significant, proven experience in similar systems accounting roles which included improving financial accounting systems and developing MI and reporting tools
