Personal / Mixed Tax Senior opportunity in Stockport offering exposure to advisory plus study support.

Your new firm
This Stockport-based medium size independent firm of Chartered Accountants are recruiting for a Tax Senior to enhance the skill set within their tax department. This firm are a general practice that cover work pertaining to all of audit, accounts, tax, payroll and more and have seen continued growth throughout 2020 and into 2021.

Your new role
As a Tax Senior you will join the firm and take ownership of a portfolio of clients, to service from a compliance perspective and assist with adhoc advisory tasks. The role ideally will be a mixed tax role however if necessary it can have a personal tax / private client leaning. Your clients will range across mid-size businesses, limited companies, directors, sole traders, HNWIs and more. This opportunity will offer exposure to advisory work as you develop and the director intends to provide mentoring for the successful applicant of this role across a range of advisory projects.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed in this Tax Senior job you will be comfortable in producing tax returns for a range of clients and demonstrate strong organisational skills. You will be confident corresponding with clients and the HMRC by email and over the phone and answer queries in a thorough manner.

Being ATT qualified is preferred and this firm ideally want to bring someone in with aspirations to complete CTA, which they will provide financial support for however experienced QBE tax professionals will also be considered. You will have a managerial mindset and wish to develop yourself further as in this firm there is progression on offer for this right individual.
