Management Accountant

Exciting IT business based in Leeds are currently recruiting for a Management Accountant who is part qualified and actively studying towards full qualification in either CIMA or ACCA. The business has continued their impressive year on year performance and due to this the business now have the need to recruit into the finance function. You will work closely with the Finance Manager and have responsibility for the full preparation of the monthly management accounts, preparation of various financial reports and be involved in many different ad hoc financial tasks and projects.
Your duties will include but not be limited to:
*Preparation and production of monthly management accounts.
*Managing the day to day running of the Finance department, which involves 2 separate businesses.
*Producing monthly Management Accounts across the division.
*Managing our internal purchasing process.
*Monitoring company Cashflow & producing weekly Cashflow reports.
*Processing weekly payment runs.
*Producing Quarterly VAT returns.
*Assisting with Annual Budgets.
*Assisting with Year-end Accounts & Audit duties.

Ideally you will be able to demonstrate the following experience:

*ACCA/CIMA part qualified Accountant.
*A strong work ethic & a real Team mentality
*Knowledge or an understanding of Xero (Desirable)
*Intermediate to advanced Excel skills required, including pivot tables, V & H Look Ups, Sum IF's etc.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
