Interim Tax Accountant

My client is looking for an interim Tax Accountant, to join there team for a period of 6 months. They're offering flexible working, and a competitive day rate within a large, market leading organisation.

My client is a FTSE 250, multi-national organisation that is a leader in their market. The successful candidate will join an established team of motivated and driven professionals, to work on a flexible hybrid basis.

Description

They main responsibilities of the role will be;

• Manage VAT and indirect tax affairs for the organisation, focusing on UK & Ireland
• Prepare and analyse VAT returns and VAT GL
• Reviewing VAT processes to ensure compliance
• Assist with VAT audits, and act as a point of contact for indirect tax queries within the business

Profile

The successful candidate will;

• Be an immediately available (or soon to be) qualified accountant
• Have experience of Indirect Tax and VAT
• Have more experience in preparation than advisory
• Be available to work in the office 3 days a week
