Interim Finance Manager, home based occasionally working in the office

Our charity client are looking to recruit a hands on Finance Manager, initially on an interim basis with potential temporary to permanent.
Your new role
You will implement and maintain proper and effective accounting records and financial administration / control / risk assessment systems in accordance with SORP, Charity Commission and Companies House reporting requirements. Prepare the budget and financial/management accounts in an accurate, comprehensible and timely way. Provide the Board with regular financial monitoring and control reports to enable it to exercise strategic controls over the financial affairs of the group. Work alongside the Chief Executive to provide information, advice and support to all budget holders in accordance with the Strategic Plan objectives. Develop and review financial strategies and to review the financial implications of other strategic and physical plans. Prepare accounting reports, manage annual audit for the charity and liaise with external auditors, the Charity Commission and any other relevant body. Complete all statutory financial obligations eg. returns to Companies House, VAT, Charity Commission, Corporate Tax, etc.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be either an ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified Accountant or qualified by experience, ideally having worked in the charity sector, through a SME background will also be considered.
