Elevation Accountancy & Finance are currently seeking a Part Time Finance Assistant to join a successful & prestigious business based in Leeds, working 30 hours per week over 4 days.

This is a rare opportunity for an experienced individual to join a growing business to provide extensive support across all areas of purchase ledger, sales ledger, credit control and reconciliations as well as month end preparation, reporting and VAT. You will play a key role in supporting the Finance Team and the Head of Finance with wide range of activities.

These will include (but will not be limited to):

* Daily credit control activities
* Allocating receipts to customer accounts
* Setting up new customer accounts, performing related checks and managing credit limits
* Liaising with credit insurance providers
* Reporting on available cash and invoice discounting facility
* Issuing debtor and creditor aged reports
* Preparing bank reconciliations
* Liaising with internal Teams in order to resolve invoice queries
* Posting supplier invoices
* Managing weekly AP payment runs
* Undertaking ad-hoc requests from the Head of Finance
* Supporting payroll team with timesheets checking
* General finance duties as assigned by the Head of Finance

Skills & Experience Needed:

* AAT qualified (preferred)
* Proactive, hard-working attitude
* Professional and calm at all times
* Familiar with Sage Line 50 (preferred)
* Good knowledge of excel (essential)
* Previous B2B credit control experience (essential)
* Good understanding of wider finance (preferred)
