Interim Finance Manager

Based in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire, our client is a reputable world leader within their field who is looking for a Finance Manager to join their team on a 6 month fixed term contract.

This job would suit an ACCA/CIMA qualified accountant, or QBE with significant experience, to deliver financials and management reporting, accurately and timely. The role will require to mentor a small team, ensuring their personal development without the need to micro-manage.

This company is a Manufacturing business who are family owned in the USA, however this role would cover UK and the European group, experience of the Manufacturing industry would be highly beneficial

The successful individual will have a minimum of five years post qualification financial and management accounting experience, with knowledge of double entry, P&L, Balance Sheet (including Accruals, Prepayments, Fixed Assets and Control Accounts). This is suited for an individual with ERP experience, preferably Epicor, as well as advanced systems knowledge and strong Excel skills

Manage team, support where needed, identify developmentApprove payments and invoicesSign off Credit Limits within authority matrixCash ForecastPost AP close month end reportingReview, top and tail accruals, prepayments, AP, AR and other month end journalsDeliver Financials to StakeholdersRecode variance COS entriesTrack AR, AP, GRNI, customer deposits, inspection, stock, WIP sub module balances to nominal ledgerPayroll journalIssue stock lists for review by stakeholdersApprove BACS run and Chinese paymentsQuarterly financialsOTD to USReview VAT return prior to submissionAuditBudgeting inputStock adjustments
