Absolute Recruitment Group have exclusively partnered with a business in Milton Keynes that requires no introduction. Our client is a pivotal part of Milton Keynes, its a brand that is instantly recognised and an employer of choice.
We are searching on a permanent basis for a Management Accountant to join a passionate, diverse and fun finance team in the heart of Milton Keynes. Ideally you will be AAT Qualified or mid way through your ACCA or CIMA Studies and, you'll already have experience working within a Management Accounting function. You will form a pivotal part of the team where you will be led and coached by the Finance Director and Financial Controller, both of which are Big 4 Trained ACA Qualified leaders.
Our client currently has 5 entities within their group and, as the Management Accountant you will be responsible for two of these subsidiaries taking responsibility of the accounts all the way through to month end close. You will be play a pivotal part in improving and maintaining the management accounts and you will also help support the financial strategy within the organisation. Within this role you will be the key financial point of contact for the wider business where you will advise on all financial matters.
Key areas of responsibility:
  • Produce the month end Management Accounts for two sets of accounts ready for review
  • Fixed Asset accounting 
  • Journals, accruals and pre payments 
  • Support the annual and quarterly budget and forecast 
  • Manage all bank and balance sheet reconciliations 
  • Cash forecasting and analysis 
  • Support key stakeholders with financial queries 
Essential Qualities
  • Ideally AAT Qualified and/or studying towards a professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA or CIMA
  • Posses a hands on approach to dive into the detail
  • Demonstrate a passionate and 'can do' attitude 
  • Excellent communication, organisational and rapport building experience 
  • Have an intermediate knowledge of excel and able to apply this commercially
