Elevation Recruitment Group are pleased to be working with an international manufacturing business as they look to recruit a Transactional Finance Manager to lead a team of 3-4 people who manage both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
The purpose of the role is to ensure effective management of the day to day operations up to Month End closure whilst continually looking to develop processes and systems. This will be a varied role with duties to include: -
*Lead a team of 3-4 people within the Finance functions including monitoring of productivity and performance
*Meeting all ledger reporting deadlines for month end
*Maintain high-quality financial systems at all times
*Overseeing all aspects of the Purchase and Sales Ledgers
*Managing the credit function and providing aged debt reporting and risk management
*Performing credit checks on new customers as well as setting and reviewing credit limits
*Accounts reconciliation's
*Continuous improvement of processes and procedures
*Month-end reporting and closure for management
*Training and development of the team
*Assisting with recruitment for the department
*Conducting appraisals
*Undertake ad hoc projects as required
*Maintaining effective working relationships with the Company's stakeholders and external parties
The successful candidate will need to be able to demonstrate the following qualifications and experience:
*Experience in working in a fast paced environment
*Previous experience in a similar role
*Team management experience
*Excellent communication skills, ability to work cross functionally
