Payroll Accounts Assistant
Our client based in Loughborough is seeking an experienced payroll & accounts assistant to join their busy team on a full-time permanent basis.
Reporting to the accounts manager, our client is seeking individuals with a positive, enthusiastic attitude, able to provide efficient support whilst demonstrating attention to detail. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
*Collection & recording of timeclock & day reports,
*Resolution of timesheet queries with line managers,
*Be the first point of contact for payroll queries,
*Assistance with payroll processing, i. leavers, starters, holidays, SPP, SMP etc,
*Maintaining payroll master MS Excel spreadsheets,
*Maintenance of staff personnel files,
*Preparation of sales invoices,
*Liaison with agency partners to resolve invoicing discrepancies,
*General assistance & cover to other areas of the accounts team as required.
The Right Person
*We're ideally looking for candidates on short notice / immediately available, but may wait for the right person on notice,
*Strong knowledge & experience using Sage 50 & MS Excel with the duties list above,
*Excellent communication skills - liaising with all levels of the business / external suppliers,
*Proven ability to work under pressure to strict deadlines,
*Comfortable working independently, extremely organised & able to effectively manage workload,
*An excellent attention to detail, ensuring speed & accuracy.
Package
*Appointment Type: Permanent, in-house
*Salary: £21,840 - £23,920 per annum / £10 - £11 (subject to experience)
*Hours: Full-Time
*Holiday 20 Days + Bank Holidays
*Auto-Enrolment Pension
*Free on-site parking
