Payroll Manager

Elevation Recruitment Group are pleased to be working for a well established service business that has grown considerably over recent years. They work with a host of well known brands and provide a range of client services out of their new and purpose built head office in Sheffield.

Due to an internal promotion, they currently have a vacancy for a Payroll Manager to join them and you will be responsible for managing a small team. This is a varied role with duties to include: -

*Preparation of the weekly/monthly payroll, ensuring that payroll is disbursed accurately within the cycle
*Calculation and payment of termination payments
*Payment and reconciliation of bonus and overtime payments
*Processing increases, calculation of back pays and payroll deductions
*Calculating annual leave entitlement manually
*Processing starters and leavers information
*Producing payroll reports for the Accounts Department
*Resolving all pay queries and correction of errors
*Accurately inputting data on to the SAGE payroll system
*Dealing with incoming and outgoing mail
*Answering the telephone and responding to general enquiries from internal and external sources
*Liaising with other team members and functions
*Manually calculating statutory payments
*RTI submissions
*Managing and processing pensions into different schemes
*Preparation of Tax Year End

You will need to be able to demonstrate the following qualifications and experiences:

* 3+ years payroll experience
* Staff management experience
* Good analytical skills
* Keen eye for detail
* Desire to drive continuous improvement across a department
* CIPP qualification (Highly desirable)
