Gleeson Finance are delighted to be recruiting an experienced Credit Controller for this Coventry business. Reporting into the Credit Manager, you will be part of a large team, and have responsibility for a UK region. You will collect outstanding debt, building positive relationships with customers, offering pro-active and speedy dispute resolution, actioning rebate agreements, and negotiating repayment plans.
You will advise customers on terms and reduce and maintain debt levels, achieving agreed individual and monthly cash collection targets. You will handle daily enquiries and customer queries in a manner which meets both company procedures and customer expectations, maintaining all relevant databases and job files. Part of the role is having the autonomy to develop the business procedures and policies that will lead to greater efficiencies.
You will ideally have a minimum of 2 years commercial credit experience, with strong IT skills (Excel essential). You will be self-motivated, detail orientated and be adaptable to change, demonstrating strong communicative and interpersonal demeanour. You will have proven skills in query resolution and client engagement.
You will receive a salary of up to £24,000 plus monthly bonus, pension, flexible working hours, 25 days holiday, free on-site parking, hybrid working, plus the opportunity for a fast track career in this growing business.
