Working with a growing health charity with an enviable track record in terms of fundraising. As a consequence of growth they are investing in the finance team to make sure that they can provide a first class service to the organisation.

You will manage a small team, responsible for transactional accounting and will be preparing month end and annual statutory accounts. You will be expected to improve both efficiency and the quality of information being produced - this will be delivered by using the systems to full capacity. Setting clear objectives and plans for the 2 team members you will provide leadership and coaching to develop their skills. This is a challenging and very busy role and they would like to attract someone who excels in that environment and who continually looks to improve methods of working.

You will be a fully qualified accountant and have experience of working in the charity sector. Experience of developing systems is essential and you will looking for a role which will challenge your skills in the following areas; technical capability, planning and organisation, managing/development of staff and developing relations with internal and external stakeholders. It will be a challenging role and highly rewarding.
