Finance Business Support Officer

This role will help them to do this by supporting the Finance Business Partners and Financial Reporting Manager as part of the Financial Reporting Team.
In this role, you will be responsible for
- Providing proactive financial support and advice to budget holders based on a sound understanding of the relevant business areas.
- Forging key relationships with budget holders, providing the conduit between the Finance team and the operational side of the business.
- Support other areas of the Finance team including Financial Services, as well as key business areas within the Directorates.
- To assist in the preparation of timely management accounts for the relevant business area
Our client need people who have/ hold:
- An Accounting qualification, such as AAT and relevant experience in a similar role
- Good IT abilities (including Microsoft Office) and strong Excel skills
- Experience working with financial and other systems
- The ability to develop and maintain strong relationships across the business and with external stakeholders, with good interpersonal and communication skills
- Provide advice, support and challenge to colleagues and being able to communicate complex financial information to non-finance colleagues
