Commercial Director

Lloyd Barnes have been exclusively assigned by our Devon based client to recruit a Commercial Director, this is an excellent opportunity to join a leading business in their field (Retail/E-commerce). The client is seeking a commercially savvy leader who is hands on and has a solid career history within an SME environment. The client is not looking to re-invent the wheel as their business model is strong, however the ability to bring new ideas and spot opportunity is a must.

Ideally you will be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) who has moved in to a Commercial/Managing/Operations Director position within the SME environment.

The successful candidate will be technically astute and able to understand trends, statistics and algorithms. You will be an exceptional leader who is able to manage the existing (stable team) and recruit and grow the team in line with company expansion. At present all accounting functions are outsourced and there is the potential to bring robust management accounting in-house.
