Senior Finance Business Partner

Elevation Senior Finance is currently looking to recruit a Senior Finance Business Partner on behalf of a major organisation in Leeds.

Working closely with the senior management team you will guide the operational, financial and strategic decision-making process. This is a high-profile position that requires an individual with excellent analytical skills, strong commercial acumen, and the ability to develop relationships at all levels, acting as a pivotal lynchpin in commercial decisions across the business.

Key responsibilities include:

-Drive sustainable financial performance of operations
-Provide financial and commercial leadership in strategy development and play a leading role in the delivery of business strategies
-Ensure the business receives value-adding finance partnering to ensure the business makes good financial and commercial decisions
-Member of both an operational leadership team and the finance leadership team managing a team of business partners to deliver outstanding commercial support
-Preparation of challenging budgets and forecasts with clear key assumptions, drivers and trends, ensuring ongoing stretch efficiency improvements
-Challenge and influence all aspects of business decisions and strategy
-Challenge and support transformation activity across the business
-Support the business area with strategic options and decisions

Elevation Accountancy & Finance would be keen to speak with candidates with the following skills and experiences:

-You will be a Qualified Accountant - (CIMA/ACA/ACCA)
-You will have experience in a commercial business partnering role
-You will have experience in staff management
-A track record of project delivery, including cross-functional engagement where necessary to ensure delivery in line with project plans
-Commercial and operational decision support
-Strong IT skills, including advanced Excel
