Holden Jones have been retained by a global tech business with triple digit growth predictions who are seeking to recruit talented individual to manage their payment gateway accounting reconciliation and Treasury functions. The role will initially focus on process automation and streamlining the reconciliation process of substantial merchant payments to ensure accurate accounting records, but will then broaden into the oversight of the whole group treasury function.
Your remit will include:
  • Streamline and standardize reconciliation of payment balances in accounting records, understanding merchant payment gateway technology  and processes for the likes of Stripe, Adyan etc 
  • Participate on new ERP implementation project with aim to fully automate banks and payment gateways accounting
  • Maintain 50+ company bank accounts in 11 entities as administrator and serve as a main point of contact for banks
  • Consolidate treasury processes and organize building reports/dashboards for treasury management
  • Setup group FX and Credit risk policies and processes
  • Overseeing liquidity and cash balances within the group in line with operational needs and external investor covenants
  • Manage foreign exchange and company working capital in line with FX and credit risk policies
  • Administration of external and inter-company loans
The successful candidate will have relevant knowledge of merchant payment gateway systems, with complex reconciliation exposure. ideally within a fast paced fintech organisation. You will ideally understand debit/credit cards payment processing and payment gateway products with exposure to FX management and a sound knowledge of accounting principles and advanced reconciliations. Strong IT skills (ideally SQL exposure), but certasily advanced Excel will be essential as well as great communication and project management skills.
