Management Accountant

A leading Financial Services business that has grown significantly in the last two years are looking for a Finalist or Newly Qualified Management Accountant. You will join and support the businesses and work alongside a strong team.

The role reports to the Head of Finance and will require you to be trained in industry with relevant management accounting experience. As a Medium sized company you will gain a breadth of knowledge and be supported in your career. If you have exams remaining, then full study support will be provided. If you are a finalist or newly qualified the firm will be looking for you to grow your career with them.

This position will start on a temporary basis and move to permanent after 3-6 months.

You will be responsible for producing management accounts and ensuring that the day-to-day finance processes run smoothly. Key responsibilities include:

• Production of monthly management accounts
• Assisting with the preparation of a monthly Board reports
• Journals for accruals and prepayments,
• Preparation of internal and external reports
• Balance sheet reconciliation's
• Assisting with Cash forecasting
• Working with transactional finance 
• Business partnering and building relationships with stakeholders
• Work on projects to improve processes and other initiatives

Skills & Experience

You will need to be a Finalist or Newly Qualified Accountant (ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with management accounting experience from industry. Ideally you will have financial services experience or similar. Banking, Broking, Asset Management would be ideal.

You will also be a confident communicator who is able to liaise with internal and external stakeholders at all levels and have a can-do attitude.
