They are seeking an ambitious Accountant with experience of costing, excellent communication skills and a strong accounting background to assist the FM and FD.
About the role
As the Accountant you will be responsible for all MI reporting and KPI activity and have a keen eye for detail as you will be heavily involved in costing as well as analysing labour and material variances.. You will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate financial information to support decision making process.

Main Duties:
- Production of key MI reports and KPI analysis
- Labour and material variance analysis
- Margin analysis
- Carrying out cost analysis to help drive profitability
- Reviewing all costing procedures
- VAT returns
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Comparison to budget, forecast and producing forward thinking reports to help drive performance
- Improvement of processes and constant drive to make our processes more efficient
- CIMA/ACCA part qualified with experience in a management accounts environment
- Excellent Excel and reporting skills and use of accounting software
- Manufacturing experience with understanding of costings and margin reports
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with directors and other company stakeholders
- Dynamic and able to work alone or as part of a team
- Strong commercial awareness
- Takes pride in developing and producing top class reports
