Management Accountant

Elevation Accountancy & Finance are currently working with a key client based in the Halifax area as they look to appoint a Management Accountant to support the efficient running of the finance function. Reporting into the Financial Controller, you will play an important role in ensuring that all statutory and compliance requirements are met.

Duties & Responsibilities will include:

*Daily sales reporting
*P&L and BS review and reconciliation each month
*Processing journals - rebates, accruals, prepayments etc
*Generation of the month end accounts pack, with commentary on variances to budget, forecast and prior year
*Monthly departmental reviews to help manage spend
*Internal reporting and liaising with business partners and F,P&A
*System and process improvements to allow accuracy and timeliness of the accounts


To be successful for this role you MUST have the following attributes:


*Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build effective working relationships across the business
*Part or fully Qualified accountant at ACCA/CIMA level
*Broad management accounts experience
*Strong systems skills, including data manipulation in Excel
