Senior Accountant - Revenue

Based: Manchester (1 day a week in the office, please note you MUST be based in the North West)

Salary: highly dependent on experience, company bonus, shares option, private healthcare, flexible working and excellent opportunities to progress

Our client is a hugely progressive, Private Equity backed tech/SAAS business based in the centre of Manchester. The company have rapidly expanded since their inception now operating with 7 global offices and around 200+ staff in 4 countries. Growing 50% year on year and with plans to build towards a potential IPO in the next 2-3 years, this is an exciting opportunity for a progressive Accountant keen to join a business offering the chance to develop your career quickly and progress quickly in the next 2 years. This role will be a hybrid role across general accounting and revenue, with the chance to grow quickly into one area and then onto further Manager roles within the company


  • Taking a leading role within the business quote to contract cycle - working closely with the sales teams to ensure finance policies are adhered to
  • Serve as a point of contact on finance contract policy and terms, reviewing proposed contacts for accounting, tax and operational implications
  • Collaborating with and providing advice on sales deals with wider teams - driving improvements in policies, processes and systems.
  • Assisting with monthly general ledger close
  • Ensuring assigned accounts are reconciled correctly each month
  • Posting accruals, prepayments, journals (adjusting where necessary)
  • Variance analysis with explanations where applicable
  • Ad hoc reporting and finance requirements as the business grows


  • ACA, ACCA, CIMA qualified from either practice (first time mover) or industry
  • Keen to learn and grow in a rapidly expanding business
  • Experience from management accounts essential
  • Training will be provided on revenue/sales area of this role
