Management Accountant job working for a genuine market leader in their niche sector, Poole, £42-50,000

A well-established and highly profitable, market-leading organisation in Poole, with a very positive and engaged work culture seeks a Management Accountant to join their team. You will be working from a pleasant office space (with parking) and will be responsible for the finances for a £10m turnover business. This entity is part of a larger group that are experiencing rapid growth, both organically and via acquisition.

Your new role
Reporting to the Finance Director, you will be responsible for all aspects of the accounting for this legal entity. You will be a key individual within the team, responsible for generating monthly management accounts, cash-flow reporting and business partnering the sales and operations team locally. You will need to be prepared to be hands-on and happy to take on some basic accounts administration, through to explaining business performance with a commentary deck. The role requires strong attention to detail, the appetite to improve systems/processes and the flexibility to pitch in with ad hoc tasks as needed.

What you'll need to succeed
Previous experience of a hands-on role including management accounting is essential, as you will need to be self-sufficient in this role due to the FD being based at another site. Excellent communication skills; both written and verbally. IT literate, particularly with Excel. The ability to prioritise a busy and varied workload, and meet deadlines as required.
