Your new company
You will be working for a well established company in the Mid-Kent area with exciting future plans. The Finance Analyst job will analyse the commercial data to aid and assist the Commercial and Marketing teams. You will work 40 hours a week and currently working remotely with the odd trip to the offices, where they will look to return to sometime in the autumn of 2021.
Your new role
As Finance Analyst you will be responsible for carrying out any necessary research, analysing it and concluding on the information. You will provide analytics to help the business make better decisions. You will be responsible for analysing variances and exploring potential problems with budget holders. You will be responsible for promoting and achieving "value for money" within all areas of business expenditure as well as providing a mix and margin analysis on profitability. You will continuously develop the budgeting, forecasting and business planning models and to help co-ordinate the processes involved whilst producing weekly, monthly and quarterly management reports to senior management
What you'll need to succeed
You will need to have recent experience working within a Financial Analyst or FP&A type position with first hand experience of planning, budgeting and forecasting. Ideally this would be within a manufacturing, FMCG or retail type organisation. You will have experience within a commercial position and communicating this information to other departments. You will have great IT skills including excellent Excel and use of BI software.
