Axon Moore have been exclusively engaged by a fast-paced FMCG group based in Leeds as they look to further expand their finance function with the addition of a new Management Accountant.
Continued growth and ongoing change within the business has allowed a role to be formed which will support elements of existing positions, in addition to taking the lead on a variety of business improvement initiatives. This role offers great variety with a blend between core business as usual & project related activities and will require a pro-active character who enjoys taking responsibility for delivery.
Key Remit:
• The preparation of monthly management accounts within agreed timescales
• Creation of data and analysis for senior management
• Developing and maintaining balance sheet reconciliations to cover all balance sheet codes, with back up documentation for review
• Maintaining the Fixed Asset Register, raising depreciation journals and posting
• Quarterly forecasting and annual budgeting process
• Producing of monthly financial information including profit and loss reports and balance sheet reconciliations within 8-10 working days of each month end. Ensure that these are prepared to a high standard and any risks are identified for line manager review
In order to be considered for the role:
• Qualified Accountant (ACA/CIMA/ACCA) or Qualified by Experience
• Knowledge of FMCG advantageous
• Strong system & interpersonal skills
• Ability to hit deadlines
